    Halloween Pranks & Tips!
Halloween is the Night of Tricks

As the classic tag line suggests, Halloween is not only meant for tasty treats, but also for some playful tricks. Before I proceed, keep in mind to that with any scare tactics you have to apply good judgment. Don’t go around scaring tiny trick-or-treaters, instead save it for older people who are generally expecting to encounter a good scare on Halloween night. Also, funny or not, please focus on pranks that are not destructive to anyone's property or well-being – it just isn’t cool anymore. With all that said, ready to spook up your Halloween? Then here are some thrilling ideas for pranks that are sure to trigger some reaction!
    1. Dress up as though you are a Halloween Decor for your lawn. The most important factor when it comes to spooking is the element of SURPRISE. Camouflaging as an inanimate decoration can really frighten someone; just imagine their surprise when you suddenly spring to life! Examples: scarecrow, zombie, Frankenstein, tree etc.
    2. Reverse trick-or-treating! Get dressed up, knock on door, and when a person answers, put candy into his/her bowl. This one will be a great mind boggler since when do trick-or-treaters give treats?

    3. Corpse in the candy casket. First you take a full sized coffin and fill it with candy. Place the casket in the front yard by the door post a sign that says take one. Find a full body costume or scary mask that could pass as a corpse and set it in the midst of the candy. For best effects, have hands or body parts jut upwards so that people will spy them. Upon further investigation the person will get a huge fright when he/she catches a glimpse of what might be underneath. Or if you’re really patient, get in the casket and pile the candy on top of yourself. Lie still until someone reaches in then give them the shock of their lives!
    4. Give away fake, plastic turds for treats. Sure it sounds gross at first, but kids and adults alike will find this ingenious treat to be a real well, treat. It’s original and everyone gets a good laugh out of it. Not to mention, it serves as a great memento so that they will never forget your house.
    5. Get dressed up so you are unrecognizable. Join a group of trick-or-treaters, preferably some that you know and just keep trailing them. It will drive them insane not knowing who you are and for the faint hearted, it’ll cause them to start panicking.
    6. If you’re hosting a party then before guests arrive, have someone dress up and discretely "haunt" the route your guests will take to get to your house. Later on, tell a "true" story about someone who died a horrific death around your neighbor/house and the how the ghost still haunts the vicinity to this day.
    7. If you’re handing out treats or simply setting a candy bowl for your party. Put in fake spiders or other insects near the bottom. As your unsuspecting victims reach in to grab those tasty treats, they’re bound for a creepy surprise!
Now that I have armed with these pranks, you can rest assured that no one will call your tricks clichéd and boring on Halloween night. Remember, they are sure to give everyone a scare so pick your victims wisely les you want to wind up with some unhappy parents in your face! With that in mind, go out there and start your planning, after all what would Halloween be like without Halloween pranks?

As the classic tag line suggests, Halloween is not only meant for tasty treats, but also for some playful tricks. Before I proceed, keep in mind to [delete "to"] that with any scare tactics you have to apply [reword: "keep in mind that all scare tactics should be applied with good..."] good judgment. Don’t go around scaring tiny trick-or-treaters, instead save it for older people, [do you mean teenagers or the elderly?] who are generally expecting to encounter a good scare on Halloween night. Also, funny or not, please focus on pranks that are not destructive to anyone's [change to "someone's" property or well-being – it just isn’t cool anymore [delete "anymore"]. With all that said, ready to spook up your Halloween? Then here are some thrilling ideas for pranks that are sure to trigger some reactions!
Get dressed up, knock on a door, and when a person answers, put candy into his/her bowl. This one will be a great mind boggler, because since when do did trick-or-treaters give treats?
[why space? also, the initial sentences for #2 and 3 need to be sentences. all the other ideas have an initial "command"-- you need to maintain that parallelism]
    3. Corpse in the candy casket. First you [delete "you"] take a full-sized coffin and fill it with candy. Place the casket in the front yard by the door, post [change to "posting"] a sign that says "take one." Find a full body costume or scary mask that could pass as a corpse and set it in the midst of the candy. For best effects, have hands or body parts jut upwards so that people will spy them. Upon further investigation, the person will get a huge fright when he/she catches a glimpse of what might be underneath. Or if you’re really patient [reword to "ambitious"], get in the casket and pile the candy on top of yourself. Lie still until someone reaches in; then give them the shock of their lives!
    4. Give away fake, plastic turds for treats. Sure, it sounds gross at first, but kids and adults alike will find this ingenious treat to be a real, well, treat. It’s original and everyone gets a good laugh out of it. Not to mention, [delete comma, insert "that"] it serves as a great memento so that they will [delete "will"] never forget your house.
    5. [initial clause?] Get dressed up so you are unrecognizable. Join a group of trick-or-treaters, preferably some that you know, and just keep trailing them. It will drive them insane not knowing who you are and, for the faint hearted, it’ll cause them to start panicking.
    6. [initial clause? as in, "freak out some guests with a real ghost story."]If you’re hosting a party then [replace "then" with comma] before guests arrive, have someone dress up and discretely "haunt" the route your guests will take to get to your house. Later on, tell a "true" story about someone who died a horrific death around your neighborhood/house and the how the ghost still haunts the vicinity to this day.
    7. [initial clause?] If you’re handing out treats or simply setting a candy bowl for your party. Put [relace period with comma] in fake spiders or other insects near the bottom. As your unsuspecting victims reach in to grab those tasty treats, they’re bound for a creepy surprise!
Now that I have armed you with these pranks, you can rest assured that no one will call your tricks clichéd and boring on Halloween night. Remember though, they are sure to give everyone [delete "everyone"] a big scare so pick your victims wisely, lest you want to wind up with some unhappy parents in your face [replace "your face" with "front of you"]! With that in mind, go out there and start your planning, [replace comma with colon] after all, what would Halloween be like without Halloween pranks?

    Halloween pranks

As the classic “trick or treat” line suggests, Halloween is not only meant for tasty treats, but also for some playful tricks. But before I proceed, keep in mind that all scare tactics should be applied with good judgment. Don’t go around scaring tiny trick-or-treaters; instead save it for peers who generally want to encounter a good scare on Halloween night. Also, funny or not, please focus on pranks that are not destructive to anyone's property or well-being – it just isn’t cool. With all that said, ready to spook up your Halloween? Then here are some thrilling ideas for pranks that are sure to trigger some nerve wrenching reactions!

    1. Dress up as though you are Halloween decor for your lawn. The most important factor when it comes to spooking is the element of SURPRISE. Camouflaging as an inanimate decoration can really frighten someone; just imagine their surprise when you suddenly spring to life! Examples: scarecrows, zombies, Frankenstein, trees are all excellent objects to imitate.

    2. Reverse trick-or-treating, go around the block handing out candy rather than receiving candy! Get dressed up, knock on a door, and when a person answers, put candy into his or her bowl. This one will be a great mind boggler, because since when did trick-or-treaters give treats?

    3. A Corpse in the candy casket will surely freak out unsuspecting victims. First take a full sized coffin and fill it with candy. Place the casket in the front yard by the door post and post a sign that says “Take One." Find a full body costume or scary mask that could pass as a corpse and set it in the midst of the candy. Upon further investigation the person will get a huge fright when he or she catches a glimpse of what might be underneath. Or if you’re really ambitious, get in the casket and pile the candy on top of yourself. Lie still until people reach in and then give them the shock of their lives!

    4. Give away fake, plastic dung for treats. Sure, it sounds gross at first, but kids and adults alike will find this ingenious treat to be a real, well, treat. It’s original and everyone gets a good laugh out of it. Not to mention that it serves as a great memento so that they never forget your house.

    5. On the night of Halloween when everyone is out asking for treats, get dressed up so you are unrecognizable. Join a group of trick-or-treaters, preferably some that you know, and just keep trailing them. It will drive them insane not knowing who you are, and for the faint hearted, it’ll cause them to start panicking.

    6. Ghost stories always strike a fear in people and especially so on the night of Halloween. If you’re hosting a party, before guests arrive, have someone dress up and discretely "haunt" the route your guests will take to get to your house. Later on, tell a "true" story about someone who died a horrific death around your neighborhood/house and how the ghost still haunts the vicinity to this day. Realizing that the spectrum that was haunting them before, was a real ghost, the guests will be spooked to the core!

    7. With the night swarming with people eager for candy, very few will be suspecting a nasty surprise when reaching in the candy bowl for a tasty treat. So if you’re handing out treats or simply setting a candy bowl out for your party, put in fake spiders or insects near the bottom. As your unsuspecting victims reach in to grab those tasty treats, they’re bound for a creepy surprise!

Now that I have armed you with these pranks, you can rest assured that no one will call your tricks cliché and boring on Halloween night. Remember though, they are sure to give a scare so pick your victims wisely lest you want to wind up with some unhappy parents in front of you! With that in mind, go out there and start your planning; after all; what would Halloween be like without pranks?
