    Introduction to all the PA Groups

    ADD: Advanced Drama Department, or ADD, is composed of a class of students highly knowledgeable in the field of theater arts. ADD students perform in a total of 2-4 full productions a year and dedicate much of their time in afterschool rehearsals.
    Noteworthy Past Performance(s): Little Shop of Horrors
    Performance(s) to Look Forward To: Noises Off (Nov 3-7), Brighton Beach Memoirs (Jan 12-15), Bat Boy (March 30-April 3), All the World’s a Stage (May 6-7)

    Band: The students of band are taught different movements while using props (instruments). Students learn and perfect routines for public exhibitions as well as competitions.
    Noteworthy Past Performance(s): AFOB (Arcadia Festival of Bands)
    Performance(s) to Look Forward To: AFOB (Nov 21)

    Chanteurs: This group of singing and dancing performers is made up of both males and females. Chanteurs showcase several performances throughout the year as well as compete against other schools during their competition season.

    Colorguard: The members of colorguard are seen spinning colored flags and throwing rifles and sabers with precision. Colorguard members compose and perform different performances throughout the year, as well as compete in many competitions.

    New Spirit: New Spirit is an all-girls choral group that performs and choreographs popular music in several school performances. This group also participates in a concert tour.

    Orchesis: This class features advanced dancers that devote much of their own time for strenuous practices and choreography. Orchesis members showcase a number of performances throughout the year.

    Performance(s) to Look Forward To: Orchesis Charity Show (Dec 17), Orchesis Spring Production (April 28-30, May 1)

    Orchestra: Orchestra members learn and improve their technique with their individual instruments and perform in several assemblies throughout the year.

    Performance(s) to Look Forward To: Orchestra Winter Concert (Dec 9), Orchestra Benefit Dinner (Feb 27)

    Pep Squad: Pep squad consists of three different groups: pep flag, song, and cheer. Members of pep squad spend numerous amounts of time perfecting their routines. They perform often in different assemblies.

    Performance(s) to Look Forward To: Winter Pep Assembly (Feb 5)

    Percussion: Marching to the beat of their drums, these percussion members practice rigorously to perfect their routines for performances and competitions.

    Performance(s) to Look Forward To: AFOB (Nov 21, Varsity Percussion)

    Speech and Debate: Dramatic interpretations, speeches, duo interpretations, original prose and poetry—these are all different things that members of the Speech and Debate team take part in. Other than spending lots of time practicing, this team also takes part in many different competitions against other schools.
