    Other Titles:
The Road to Happiness Very Happy
Taking the Time to Appreciate the Little Things
    Seeing the Glass Half-Full

Personally, happiness is living life free of worries, putting a smile on everyday, taking time to appreciate the little things, and laughing till you fall down rolling on the floor. Well, at least sometimes I hope. Because we attend AHS, it might be difficult to be stress free, but there are ways, my friend. With 10 simple steps, you can begin your journey to achieve the road to happiness.

    1) Be with others who make you smile.
Hanging out with happy people is a sure way to increase your happiness and ensure more positive thoughts to come in the future. After all, friends follow the saying, the more the merrier, but make sure they are supportive of you and other friends in the group as well. According to www.scrippsnews.com, “Studies show that we are happiest when we are around those who are also happy.”

    2) Phone a friend whom you have not spoken to for a while and arrange to meet up.
Though you may be thinking that the conversation will head in an awkward direction, your old friend is probably just as pumped up as you are to talk on the phone again and meet up somewhere. After all, friendships last forever, right?

    3) Have a good laugh at least once a day.
Believe it or not, laughing is the cure to all those depressing days, turning them into contented and feel-good pleasure. According to hubpages.com, it states that “If only we can understand that uninhibited laughter is the food for our soul and providing us the nourishment to a life worthwhile. If only we can employ and enjoy that uninhibited laughter nourishing our life.”
    4) Smile at and/or say hello to someone at least once each day
Talk to someone you’ve never met before, maybe even someone in your class. Hopefully, you’ll have lots of things in common and eventually become close friends. You never know what the future brings us and being the bigger person always helps.

    5) Do things you love.
Whether it’s drawing or going to the beach, doing what you love is an important step in reaching happiness. Even if you do these things once in a while, you are guaranteed to be feeling happier.

    6) Bask in the simple pleasures.
You don’t need the most luxurious items to have a good time. According to psychologists, they believe that pleasure is one of the elements in the formula for happiness, so enjoy those tasty desserts, beautiful sunsets, and loads of laughter. After all, it’s not where you’re at, it’s who you’re with that makes a big difference.

    7) Live life to the fullest, rejoicing in everyday.
Just keep living life with fun-filled adventures and making the best out of everything. I mean, what can go wrong with that?

Cool Have meaning in your life.
Another element in the formula of happiness is meaning, knowing that you are valued and that many people care about you. But it’s not just knowing that you matter, but what you do matters and that you can make a difference.

    9) Imagine the best.
Always look at the glass half-full, not half-empty. Being optimistic is a great component in life’s dangers, complications, and hardships, so always try your best to look on the bright side.

    10) Spread kindness by doing a good deed for someone everyday.
Doing a deed for someone is such a heartwarming moment. No matter how big or how small, doing something good for others will always result in not only their happiness, but also your own happiness in the near future.

As you continue your journey through life, keep in mind all those wonderful memories, make some awe-inspiring new ones, and continue down the road to happiness. Whether it’s a simple pleasure like chocolate chip waffles or having a good laugh, keep doing it and continue to see the glass, not half-empty, but half-full.

Happiness is living life free of worries, putting a smile on everyday, taking time to appreciate the little things, and laughing until you fall down rolling on the floor. Well, at least sometimes, I hope. Because we attend AHS, it might be difficult to be stress-free, but there are ways, my friend. With eight simple steps, you can begin your journey on the road to happiness.
Don’t be the least bit worried that you won’t have anything to discuss because your old friend is probably just as pumped up as you are to talk on the phone again and meet up somewhere. After all, friendships are supposed to last forever.
    3) Have a good laugh at least once a day.
Believe it or not, laughing is the cure to all those depressing days, turning them into contentment and feel-good pleasure. According to hubpages.com, “if only we can understand that uninhibited laughter is the food for our soul and providing us the nourishment to a life worthwhile. If only we can employ and enjoy that uninhibited laughter nourishing our life.”
    4) Smile at and/or say hello to someone at least once each day
Talk to someone you’ve never met before, maybe even a stranger, or someone less familiar to you. Hopefully, you’ll have lots of things in common and eventually become close friends. You never know what the future brings us and being the bigger person always helps.
    5) Do things you love.
Whether it’s drawing or going to the beach, doing what you love is an important step in reaching happiness. Even if you do these things once in a while, you are guaranteed to feel happier.
    6) Bask in the simple pleasures.
You don’t need the most luxurious items to have a good time. According to psychologists, pleasure is one of the elements in the formula for happiness, so enjoy those tasty desserts, beautiful sunsets, and spending quality time with some good friends. 7) Imagine the best.

Cool Spread kindness by doing a good deed for someone every day.
You can make a difference. No matter how big or how small, doing something good for others will always result in not only their happiness, but also your own happiness in the near future.
