Behind the Scenes with Nathan Kress
Nathan Kress, or as most of us know him as the nerdy tech-producer, Freddie, on iCarly, is no one other than a regular teenager. There are a lot of things we don’t know about him, and a lot of things we want to find out. Like what he does on his spare time, and what his favorite iCarly episode is. Read more to find out other things about Nathan Kress
(I will add more and change the intro once he replies.)

Nathan Kress, or as most of us know him as the nerdy tech-producer, Freddie, on iCarly, is no one other than a regular teenager. There are a lot of things we don’t know about him, and a lot of things we want to find out.
This all started when Nathan was about three years old. “[He] did a few small jobs here and there,” but nothing that would get him hooked on acting. He started going to regular school after a few years, but, in fifth grade, he started to be in some of his school’s productions, which introduced him to acting again. Finally, in sixth grade, he went back into the acting business, and here we are now!
The first TV appearance he had when he went into acting a second time was playing a young Simon Cowell in a sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Now, as you all know, he is on the Nickelodeon show iCarly. “One of [his] favorite things about being in the cast is that we’re able to make a show that a lot of people like!” Although acting and making a show that people like is fun, Nathan agreed that “it’s tough to put your mind to both schooling and acting” and that “the most important thing is time management.”
You may be wondering what it would be like to be an actor/actress on a hit TV show. Well, this would be your typical week:
Monday: The script is handed out and all the actors, producers, writers, and whoever else, sit around a table and read the whole entire script. Then rehearsal takes place the rest of the day.
Tuesday: More rehearsal, then they have a “run- through.” During a run-through, the cast acts out the entire episode so that the writers can make any necessary changes to the script.
Wednesday: More rehearsal and another run-through, but everything thing is more polished and lines are mostly memorized and all the props are set out.
    Thursday and Friday: Shooting days!
Luckily, “[they] all get along on set,” because they spend a lot of time together! But, “[he hangs] out with Jennette(Sam) the most, since we have the most in common.”
His favorite episode of iCarly is “iEnrage Gibby.” For those of you who haven’t seen this episode, it’s the one where Gibby has a girlfriend and he thinks Freddie tried to kiss her. Nathan continued saying that “[he’s] not sure why, but that [episode] was a blast to shoot.”
After all this, Nathan responded saying “he’s got the best job in the world!”

Nathan Kress, or as most of us know him as the nerdy tech-producer, [this last chunk makes the whole sentence cluttered and confusing - try splitting it into two sentences.] Freddie, on iCarly, is no one [none] other than a regular teenager. There are a lot of things we don’t know about him, and a lot of things we want to find out.
His acting career started when Nathan was about three years old. He "did a few small jobs here and there,” but nothing that would get him hooked on acting. He started going to regular school after a few years, but, in fifth grade, began performing in some of his school’s productions, which introduced him to acting again [which reintroduced him to acting]. Finally, in sixth grade, he went back into the acting business, and here we are now!
His first TV appearance after he went into acting a second time was playing a young Simon Cowell in a sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Now, as you all know, he is [a cast member] on the Nickelodeon show iCarly. “One of [his] favorite things about being in the cast is that we’re able to make a show that a lot of people like!” Although acting and making a show that people like [creating a popular enjoyable show] is fun, Nathan agreed that “it’s tough to put your mind to both schooling [Did he really say this?? Because it's not a real word in this context...] and acting” and that “the most important thing is time management.”
You may be wondering what it would be like to be an actor/actress on a hit TV show. Well, this would be your typical week:

After all this, Nathan responded saying he has [change this last part - After all this, Nathan truly believes he has] "the best job in the world!”
