Sorry its not finished, the actual competition hasn't happened yet.

Do you smell it? The smell of math is in the air. That means that the smartest and coolest AHS mathematicians are at it again. Math Team participated in an exciting and intellectual competition on November 18th. It took place in Long Beach. This was there first competition of the year, starting them off for the rest of the competing season. They rallied up a total of ____ points. The studious academic group showed off their incredible skills but they lost / as they blew away the opponents. The incredible team of mathletes (composed of thirty three members) went into the competition with confidence and coolness. They entered their, already, victorious battlefield looking stylish and fashionable in their red math team shirts.
    *find quote about their feelings*
*find quote about their victory or failure*
    *find quote about their reaction*
Sam Wang (Math Team Captain) led their team throughout the competition. Helping them gain points and encouraging and pushing them further when points where lost. The determination of Math Team is undeniable, thus they won / lost with willpower and fortitude.
Math Team’s next competition is going to be on January 13th, and take place in San Marino High. After that there is a competition on January 17th taking place in the west side of Torrance. Their last competition will be held on May 26 on the south side of Torrance. There they will compete once again in a series of mathematic events. We wish them the best of luck on their future competitions.

Do you smell it? The smell of math is in the air. That means that the smartest and coolest AHS mathematicians are at it again. Their intellect-challenging competitions show off their incredible knowledge in multiple subjects of math such as Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, etc. The AHS Math Team has been attentively meeting together every Wednesday afternoon in P-2 to learn, practice, and study the subject, you guessed it, math.

Although we enviously stare at members of the Math Team playing Tetris on their graphing calculators during our everyday math class at school while we’re still trying to finish a long and difficult marathon-problem, all the members of the Math Team never fail to help us with our math. Therefore, the math-deprived and lost students of AHS are forever grateful. Keep up the good work!

The incredible team of mathletes (composed of thirty three embers) went into the competition with confidence and coolness. The determination of Math Team is undeniable, thus they won with willpower and fortitude; sweeping up a total of 303 points, beating San Marino (who came in second) by approximately 20 points. Cheering their heads off as the host announced their victoriously high amount of points, senior Sam Wang says, “We had good performance among the seniors as well as the other grade levels. Team A did very well; everyone got perfect or near perfect scores. This competition was a strong start for the year. If we score at this level consistently at the rest of the meets, we will definitely place top 3.”
