When was the ball first dropped in Times Square? [a question or two from competition] Now while pondering these questions, imagine the race for those who know to answer it. That is the job AHS Quiz Bowl’s, answering questions like these of the cuff in their most recent competition last [time] at [place and setting].

The competition played against [a few schools] in a basic buzzer, jeopardy round. [explain the competition, rounds etc]. In round 1 [run down where we were winning, losing]. [round two etc]. [insert a few quotes in between]. After earning [what place] the AHS Quiz Bowl Team will proceed to [where in tournament].
If first: Having wiped the competition, Quiz Bowl has [gain what].
If lost/step back: Quiz Bowl failed to defeat [schools] and is hoping for a win [next competition].
